You might think it’s a tourist restaurant because it’s so close to the castle, but it’s not. It’s a wonderful restaurant with delicious homemade food. The owner is a very kind person. We went two days in a row and wish we could have gone three. If we return to Romania, we will definitely eat here again.
The food was above pur expectations, so delicious, fast service and very professional server. 100% recommend, loved everything about the place. Also nice paintings on the interior.
everything was so yummy, food was served in a timely manner and the waitresses were very kind and attentive. I highly recommend their pork tenderloin and their traditional pork stew
Stopped here after seeing Bran castle. Modern inside and the waiter was so friendly. Tried the delicious Gulasch stew. Portions are a little small but it’s a good value and probably a better option than others near the castle.
It is such a nice place with the most friendly staff. Also the food is truly delicious and one can enjoy it in an inspiring atmosphere. I would definitely recommend to eat there
Located right across from Bran Castle, a 2-minute walk from the castle entrance, Brana Restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The gentleman who was there was super kind to us! He speaks very good English, was always smiling and served us promptly. Because winter had officially passed for some time, they didn't have mulled wine. But because it snowed heavily there today and because it was cold outside, we asked him if he could do it and he prepared mulled wine especially for us. Which was wow. The food came quickly and was very tasty. We had bean soup with chopped red onion on the side, polenta with cheese, sour cream, fried egg and sausage, beef goulash, and for dessert papanași. Everything was super good! And the mulled wine was perfect!
